While the standard suite of learning resources we’ve developed can meet majority of key learning objectives, we are keenly aware that varying gaps in understanding do exist from student to student. Instead of immediately putting students through a rigid structure of private tutoring to address individualised learning needs, we’ve seen how short and timely clarifications on specific questions or concepts can be sufficient and effective especially for students with a more independent style of learning.

As such, we’ve differentiated our consultation methodology to provide two tiers of consultations, with Snap & Send being a quick fix where possible and conventional one-on-one live consultation sessions reserved for more in-depth and extensive discussions. This eliminates the need for regular tutoring support just for the sake of having a safety net, while allowing students to learn independently and seek help at an appropriate level when necessary.

Simply snap and send us images via WhatsApp of questions or concepts which you might be struggling with, and we will route it to an appropriate subject specialist who will provide an explanation by means of a pre-recorded video clip which will be made available to you for viewing at your convenience, so there is no need to worry about setting time aside for an appointment.

To enjoy Snap & Send, you will need to purchase time for StudyPro Consult in blocks of 60 minutes. Depending on the scope and level of complexity, video explanations are typically 5-10 minutes in duration. Time will be deducted after each video explanation is released and the balance time will be reflected in our reply. Balances are valid up to 1 year from the date of last utilisation.

We encourage students to provide the relevant details when posting questions, so as to allow our team to provide short and specific replies. To minimise time utilisation and cost, in cases where you’ve already got the solutions but need clarification on a certain point, including the solution as well will allow our team to focus on addressing specific learning points, instead of having to spend time re-working the solutions.  

Depending on the scope and level of complexity, we will typically require about 1-2 days to provide a reply. To avoid delays, please be clear when posting questions and include all relevant information. For example, in most instances the full question would be necessary even if the difficulty only pertains to the last part as questions are often inter-linked.

As much as we understand the value of a timely response, we seek your kind understanding that our team needs sufficient time to prepare and deliver detailed and clear explanations to your questions. We will get back to you should there be any discrepancies, or if live online consultation would be more appropriate to address the issue at hand.

Kindly notify us should there be any discrepancies and we will perform a review of the video explanation. Should there be any oversight on our part, a revised video explanation will be furnished at no cost.

For Online Consultations on StudyPro Consult, live sessions are conducted via Zoom’s video-conferencing platform, which also allows students to annotate real-time. A laptop or desktop with a functional speaker and microphone is recommended. Good internet connection would be necessary to avoid any disruption to the consultation session.

We encourage students to try out Snap & Send first, so that minor clarifications may be resolved offline and viewed at your convenience. Should the need for live online consultation arise, bookings may be made by contacting our support team at (+65) 8777 5024 via WhatsApp. We will assign a suitable tutor based on availability and subject / topic. 

As live sessions are 1-hour in duration, kindly note that you will have to purchase 60min for StudyPro Consult prior to confirmation of the live online consultation. Please note that we do not accept refunds.

No, unfortunately StudyPro does not offer refunds for all purchases, including StudyPro Gold and StudyPro Consult. For minors, kindly obtain parental consent prior to making any purchase.

Live online consultations may be rescheduled at no cost 24-hours prior to the scheduled appointment, by contacting our support team at (+65) 8777 5024 or emailing studypro@putrastar.com. Thereafter, unfortunately StudyPro will have to charge the full cost of the 1-hour session, to cover the opportunity cost of engaging our subject specialists. Assigned tutors will wait online for 15min, after which it will be deemed as a no-show.

All payment for learning resources and services can be made via credit card through PayPal. Simply select the appropriate item you wish to purchase and you will be directed to a secure website on PayPal to continue with the payment.

All prices are denominated in Singapore Dollars (S$). As StudyPro caters to students worldwide, kindly note that we are unable to accept cash or cheque payments. For minors, kindly obtain parental consent prior to making any purchase.

Please contact us directly for enquiries regarding coursework which are assessed on a case-by-case basis e.g. internal assessments for IB Diploma Programme. Kindly note that we do not provide direct assistance for coursework e.g. report writing, neither do we provide endorsement for coursework e.g. verification of results.

Our subject specialists may however be able to provide the relevant guidance and supervision e.g. highlighting potential gaps in experimental method, suggestions for improvement for the report, teaching of the relevant topics needed to accomplish the coursework, etc. This is in-line with StudyPro’s working principles that learning should be student-driven.

StudyPro will only request for information which is necessary for the provision of our learning support resources and services. StudyPro retains such personal information for a period of up to 1 year from the date of purchase of StudyPro Gold, and for up to 1 year from the date of last utilisation of StudyPro Basic or StudyPro Consult.

Upon expiry of your subscription, all relevant personal information will be discarded. StudyPro does not market or disclose personal information to third-party intermediaries. Additionally, StudyPro will not be responsible or liable for any breaches in data security due to unforeseen circumstances.

For Snap & Send, the customised video explanations are only released to you privately. StudyPro does not retain copies of material we’ve received from students. Kindly note that StudyPro will not be responsible or liable for any infringement on intellectual property laws.

Yes, StudyPro only accepts members who are at least 13 years of age. Additionally, where required by applicable laws, parental consent must be obtained by minors prior to signing up. If you are below 13 years of age or have not obtained parental consent, if required, kindly refrain from using our learning resources and services. StudyPro will not be liable or responsible in any way for breaches in legal obligations arising from incorrect declaration of status made by users.

For StudyPro Basic and StudyPro Gold, you can assess our learning resources via a web browser on any laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. As the content is streamed from our servers, you will need an active internet connection. Due to security reasons, kindly note that only 1 device can be logged on at any point.
